How much does ESCAIDE registration cost?
Registration for ESCAIDE 2026 is free of charge, for both in-person and online participants.
When is ESCAIDE 2026?

Where is ESCAIDE 2026? How can I attend?
ESCAIDE 2026 will take place as a hybrid conference, online and in Stockholm, Sweden.
The venue in Stockholm is the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre, located a 5-minute walk from the Central Station.
The online conference will be hosted on the online conference platform; registered participants will receive an email with a link to the platform in the days preceding the start of the conference.
How can I change something in my registration, including to request a change from on-site to online attendance?
You can submit a question or request through the Contact Form linked above. Please note that registrations cannot be transferred from one participant to another or switched from online to on-site attendance.
Is it possible to switch from online to on-site attendance?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to switch from online to on-site attendance unless you have received a registration code.
I can no longer attend ESCAIDE and would like to cancel my attendance.
Please submit a request to cancel your registration through the Contact Form linked above. Please note that even if you are unavailable during the conference days, you can still remain registered and re-visit the session recordings at a later date.
I cannot attend all sessions of ESCAIDE. Are the sessions recorded?
All sessions, aside from Poster tours and selected side sessions, will be recorded and remain available on the conference platform after the conference. Plenary sessions and thematic sessions will also be published on ECDC’s YouTube channel.
Are all sessions available to online participants?
All sessions, aside from Poster tours and selected side sessions, are available to online participants.
Can I combine in-person and online attendance to ESCAIDE?
If you are only able to attend one or two days of the conference in person, you should register for on-site attendance for those days, and you will be able to attend the remaining day(s) remotely, through the conference online platform
I was supposed to receive a registration code but cannot find it. What should I do?
If you are an abstract presenter, speaker or other invited guest, you should have received a registration code by email. Please contact the ESCAIDE team ([email protected]) or your contact point at ECDC.
I am an abstract presenter and have a question about my abstract, poster and/or presentation.
Please contact the ESCAIDE team by email ([email protected]), or refer to the guidelines for abstract presentation on the ESCAIDE website.
I would like to replace a co-author as the presenter of our abstract. Is this possible?
Abstract presenter changes are possible until 14 September. To request a change in abstract presenters, please use the Contact Form linked above, stating the abstract ID, the name of the previous presenter and the name and email address of the new presenter.
Please note that only co-authors listed in the original abstract submission can act as presenters.
Does ESCAIDE provide funding for travel and accommodation of participants?
Financial support to cover travel and accommodation costs is available for eligible abstract presenters through the Funding Initiative. The eligible candidates will be contacted directly by the ESCAIDE team with more details on the application process.
Does ESCAIDE provide visa invitation letters?
ESCAIDE can only provide invitation letters for visa purposes for abstract presenters and other speakers. To request a letter, please email [email protected], indicating the abstract ID (in the case of abstract presenters).
Does ESCAIDE provide certificates of attendance?
ESCAIDE participants can request a certificate of attendance when responding to the post-conference feedback survey, which will be sent to all participants at the end of the conference.
I have registered but cannot find the confirmation email.
First, please check your spam folder and quarantined emails. If nothing there, contact your institution’s IT department for them to add [email protected] to the list of safe senders / remote it from the blocked emails.
If your IT finds no traces of a block, please contact us through the Contact form linked in the top menu.
How and when should presenters submit their posters or presentation slides?
Presenters of abstracts accepted in the standard call for abstract should submit their e-posters (for poster presentations) or slides (for oral presentations) through the abstract management platform. The deadline for submissions is 1 October. You can find more information for presenters in our Guidelines.
